Meet Formula Drift Royalty At Holler Ford

This weekend, the high-octane, wall-scraping chaos of Formula Drift is taking over Orlando Speed World, but before the grid straps in, the heavy hitters of Team RTR are making an exclusive pit stop right here at Holler Ford.

If you aren’t familiar, RTR (Ready to Rock) was founded by legendary driver Vaughn Gittin Jr., and it functions as the official factory-backed drifting program for Ford Racing. Their weapons of choice are monstrous, nitrous-powered Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-Ds that can crank over 1,100 horsepower. Yeah, it’s serious.

Well, now’s your chance to meet some of the professional drivers behind Team RTR right here at Holler Ford this Thursday.

While there won’t be any actual drifting or tire smoke on our showroom floor, you do get total insider access to Team RTR’s top tier lineup.

We will be hosting an exclusive signing session with Irish drifting legend James ‘The Machine’ Deane. Wait, seriously we got him??

For those who keep up with the scene, The Machine is best known for being one of the most statistically dominant drivers in global drifting history. With his uncanny precision, he counter-steered his way into three consecutive Drifting Championships from 2017 - 2019. And he’s not done yet!

Plus, we also have Ben Hobson, the young gun from Alabama also attending. Ben is hunting his first Pro title with Team RTR after absolutely dominating the 2023 Formula Drift Prospec series!

And while Ben may not have a cool nickname like “The Machine” quite YET, he’s working his way up there. ‘The ProSpec Prodigy’ has a nice ring to it, by the way.

If you come hang out on Thursday, you will quite literally be hanging out with some of the most elite competitors of the Drift sport.
